Penned by drummer C-ford, the lilting rhymes and catchy melody entrance the listener into some "out of body, out of mind"-like experience.

G. David of the Online Hit Magazine WEI! says "Johnny 12 Gauge is the craziest rocker to hit the Internet all year.” The songs, by the way, sound a bit like the music on this page, which is very loud.

Sources deny that Johnny 12 Gauge is none other than AC/DC guitarist Angus Young, though he does look an awful lot like him.

Soles de Cuba

Of course, one of the main reasons for going to Cuba, is for its music owing to the recent popularity of the Buena Vista Social Club movie and music.

Well folks, the "Soles de Cuba" really made our "all-inclusive" visit to Cuba memorable. Specializing in Latin music as well as a lot of classics the group serenaded us and fellow vacationers using their melodious mix of guitar, violin, percussion and voice.

They also have a pianist, Harold Bermudez Burgos and Cecilia Núñez, the cellist featured on their CD. But they were engaged elsewhere.

We enjoyed the foursome at the Riu Turquesa in Varadero ,:

Manuel Ferrales Bell: Percussion Minor and voice
Ivan Morales Castillo: Violin, voice and "orquestaciones"

Soles de Cuba was founded in Varadero, Cuba in 1976 and has had quite an extensive presence both locally and internationally.

They have played in Canada, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, Greece, Guadelupe, Holland, Martinique, Nicaragua, Russia and Turkey
